Partner with us
Clinics, legal aid organizations, food banks, employers, funders and associations: bring your program to the households we serve, and let us bring you the people who need it. We are a trusted door into communities that institutions struggle to reach.
Who we work with.
Community health centers and clinics
We refer patients who need sliding-scale care, help them enrol, and accompany first visits. You get patients who arrive prepared, in their language.
Legal aid and workers' rights clinics
The Fair Work Initiative prepares cases — records, timelines, claim forms — before referral, and provides interpreters and companions. You get cases that are ready.
Food banks and pantries
We connect households and associations to your distributions and help associations run their own points.
Funeral and repatriation professionals
Licensed funeral homes experienced in international shipping, and repatriation services, that commit to transparent, itemised pricing for families we refer.
Employers
Employers who want to do right by workers with a foreign-born story: know-your-rights sessions, fair-work commitments, and a confidential channel for concerns.
Associations
Diaspora, hometown, faith and professional associations: the Foundation's programs for your members, workshops on site, a liaison from your own community, and the Mutual Aid Compact.
Funders
Foundations, corporate giving programs and donor-advised funds that want to reach households with a foreign-born story through a trusted network, with plain-language reporting.
Government and public programs
County and city programs that want higher take-up among eligible households: we explain, enrol and follow up in three languages.
Workshop hosts
Schools, libraries, churches, mosques, community centers: host a know-your-rights or scam-awareness session for your community.
What a partnership looks like {#types}
- Referral partnership: a named contact on each side, an agreed way to refer, and feedback so that nobody falls through. We refer only to partners we have checked, and we ask the same of partners referring to us.
- Workshops: one-hour sessions from the Foundation's materials — know your rights, your safety online, after a death far from home — in English, Spanish or French, on your site or online.
- Distribution points: help for associations and community centers to run food or information distributions.
- Funding: restricted or unrestricted grants to the four funds, with reporting that shows what the money did without identifying families.
- Professional volunteering: your staff's expertise, scoped per case.
What partners can expect from us
- A single contact who answers.
- Households that arrive prepared, with documents, in their language.
- Honest feedback on what works and what does not.
- No fees to households, ever, for anything a partner provides through us.
- Respect for your capacity: we do not send more than you can serve.
What we ask of partners
- Serve everyone we refer regardless of status, and never ask about it unless the law requires it for a specific program.
- Transparent pricing where prices exist.
- Confidentiality.
- A named contact and a feedback loop.
