Every gift becomes direct help. TAS Foundation runs lean on purpose: gifts go to relief, programs and the people who deliver them. Choose where your gift goes, or let us put it where it is needed most.
Four funds.
The Hardship Fund
Direct, short-term relief that resolves an emergency: a rent gap, a shut-off, a prescription, a document fee. Paid to the party that needs paying.

The Fair Work Initiative
Rights education, documentation help, wage-claim preparation, accompaniment to hearings, workshops for associations, and partner referrals.

The Family Emergency Fund
For families facing a death or crisis far from home without insurance: deposits, documents, travel, and coordination with the Mutual Aid Compact.

Ways to give
- One-time gift — tell us the fund and the amount through the donation inquiry and we send the giving details.
- Monthly gift — the most valuable kind, because relief needs are monthly too. Any amount.
- Employer matching — many employers match employee gifts to charities; ask your HR department, and we provide whatever paperwork is needed.
- Gifts in memory or in honour — of a loved one, or to mark an occasion. We send an acknowledgement to the family if you wish.
- Association giving — an association can direct part of its dues or a special collection to the Hardship or Family Emergency Fund for its own members' benefit; we report back to the association on how it was used.
- Foundation and corporate grants — we welcome conversations with funders who want to reach households with a foreign-born story through a trusted community network. Partners.
- Stock, planned gifts and other assets — contact us to discuss.
How gifts are used {#used}
- Direct relief to households (the Hardship and Family Emergency Funds).
- Program delivery: navigators and interpreters who answer every request personally; materials in three languages; workshops.
- The tools that make it work: secured forms, phone lines, case follow-up.
- A deliberately small share for administration.
We report to donors and associations on what their gifts did, in plain language, without disclosing anything that could identify a family.
What your gift will not be used for
- Fees to anyone for 'access' to help. Help is free.
- Political campaigns.
- Anything outside the Foundation's programs.
A note on impostors
Give only through this website, the donation inquiry, or the details we send you in reply. We never ask for gift cards, wire transfers to individuals, or cryptocurrency. If anyone solicits in our name in another way, tell us at help@tas-foundation.org.
